Abstract

This paper provides a review and opinion on the implementation of a robotic teaching assistant as an alternative to a traditional human teacher. The use of robots in education is becoming increasingly popular, with the aim of enhancing student engagement, motivation and learning outcomes. The focus of this review is on the advantages and limitations of using a robotic teaching assistant as a teaching tool. The review discusses the technical requirements for a successful implementation, including the ability of the robot to provide personalized feedback and adapt to the learning style of each student. The paper also touches on the social implications of using a robotic teaching assistant, such as the need for appropriate ethical considerations, and the impact on teacher-student relationships. The review concludes with a discussion of the potential benefits and drawbacks of using a robotic teaching assistant and offers recommendations for future research in this area.
