Abstract

The Gesture Based Communication is an innovative device that facilitates communication between individuals who are deaf or mute and those who are not. Often, individuals who are deaf or mute communicate through hand gestures, which can be difficult for others to understand. In our daily lives, we communicate through speech, and the Gesture based communication device was developed to bridge this communication gap. Gestures are a natural and preferred way for humans to interact with computers, and this device builds a bridge between humans and machines. For many individuals who are deaf or mute, sign language is their primary language. The Gesture based communication device recognizes and interprets these hand gestures, translating them into text to facilitate communication with others. For individuals with physical disabilities, illnesses, or injuries affecting their legs, wheelchairs are designed to aid in mobility and provide them with independence in movement. An intelligent motorized wheelchair has been developed for physically handicapped individuals using flex sensor technology. This type of wheelchair enables navigation without the assistance of another individual, improving the mobility and independence of the user.
