Abstract

Since the beginning of seventies, there has been a tremendous change in semiconductor technology. According to Moore’s law, doubling of the number of transistors in every 24 months has reduced the size of the transistors, whereas the performance has also become improved due to introducing of new technology nodes in device fabrication. Modern semiconductor technology demands low cost device fabrication, which will be light weight and will consume low power along with better electrical and mechanical flexibility in compare to conventional crystalline Si based transistor. Organic Field Effect Transistor (OFET) has been able to attract the researchers for the best mechanically flexible; fabrication cost is low and lesser weight [1]. This Paper focuses on the various materials used for fabrication of OFET and the performance.
