Abstract
Transmission of electricity through over head transmission lines is a widely used method of power transmission from one location to another location. The location of the fault must be identified quickly. Though there is human effort involved in fault detection, technology assisted solutions can save time resources. Some of potential strategies for fault detection are proposed for effective detection failure in power transmission.
