A Survey of the Evolution, Uses, and Applications of Number Theory
Abstract
This essay primarily examines the evolution and uses of number theory, with the goal of reviewing the field's past and investigating its impact on society, production, and applications. The study of integers was the original focus of number theory. The fundamental framework of number theory has progressively improved thanks to the contributions made by mathematicians throughout history to the advancement of the study of integers, creating a comprehensive and cohesive field of study in the process. Number theory is the cornerstone of many academic fields and has a significant influence on many others as a fundamental discipline.
