Abstract

In order to enhance the power regulation of renewable energy sources, this research introduces a unique power source system implied on the usage of fuzzy inference. In addition to using renewable energy sources like sun and wind, the system also uses an accumulator battery. A consistent power supply and optimized charging of the accumulative elements are provided by the process for the parallel connecting of numerous energy sources. Two serial converters are used to connect renewable energy sources in parallel, and a fuzzy logic-based controller is used to control them. An efficient use of the energy sources available is made possible by the serial converter's reference voltage regulation. In order to make up for the lack of solar and wind energy, the collector element is connected in parallel; however, if the amount of renewable energy is greater than what is required, the battery stores the extra energy produced by the customers. The hybrid power system prototype is used for all measurements, which are then compared to actual systems of this kind in use. The main application for this new system is in rural telecom locations without a power distribution network.
