A Research Investigation to Determine the State of Stress Management Skills in Visually Impaired Children
Abstract
Background and Objectives: Stress is the most prevalent emotional disturbance experienced by both adults and children. It is commonly associated with stress, anxiety, concern, and pressure. Blindness and visual handicap are the most difficult problems to solve all around the world. Method: A quantitative research approach was used, with a non-experimental descriptive study design. The non-probability purposive sampling strategy was used to pick visually challenged youngsters. The interview structured questionnaire (socio-demographic variable and clinical profile) was used to collect data. The Bisht Battery of Stress Scale was used to determine the level of stress. The majority of vision impaired children had various types of stress levels, and the study found a significant positive link between stress levels and associated coefficients among visually impaired children. Conclusion: The study's findings are consistent with the literature and are supported by other investigations.
