SEGMENTATION OF MEDICAL IMAGE BY SOBEL METHOD IN NEUTROSOPHIC SET
Abstract
Neutrosophic set is the generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy sets. It explicitly investigates about the indeterminacy. Neutrosophic approach is a developing technique in varies area. In case of image, the it measures the uncertainty in the image including the edges. In medical image there may be noises available. In order to eradicate a process known as denoising is used and enhance the image with less loss of information, various operators are used. For segmentation, Sobel technique is applied since it preserves the edges. Many morphological operators are used to enhance the image and to segment the affected area separately. Using this proposed technique, segmentation is done more accurately.
