CROSS-PLATFORM FINANCE ANALYZER
Abstract
Financial analysis has traditionally been a timeconsuming and manual process, requiring extensive data entry, formatting, and interpretation. The Cross-Platform Finance Analyzer is a modern solution designed to streamline and automate financial data analysis using Electron.js, TypeScript, Express.js, and Prisma ORM. This application allows users to upload CSV files, which are automatically parsed and structured into meaningful datasets without requiring manual formatting. By leveraging advanced data visualization techniques, the system generates interactive graphs, trend analyses, and financial reports, helping users gain valuable insights into their financial performance. The backend, powered by Express.js, ensures seamless data processing, while the Electron.js framework guarantees cross-platform compatibility across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Additionally, OS-specific optimizations, such as disabling GPU acceleration on Windows, ensure smooth and stable performance. Unlike existing financial tools that impose strict data format requirements, this system features an intelligent data-mapping mechanism that automatically detects and categorizes financial fields. Security and performance are prioritized through Prisma ORM’s efficient database handling, ensuring that data retrieval and storage remain optimized. This project aims to enhance financial management by providing users with a user-friendly, automated, and insightful finance analyzer, reducing the complexity of financial data handling and improving decision-making efficiency.
