REDUCTION OF SIDE LOBE IN DOPPLER TOLERANT RADAR USING DIGITAL CODING TECHNIQUE
Abstract
The proposed digital coding technique aims to increase the detection probability in radar systems by reducing the noise below radar threshold limit. The use of discrete mathematics and digital codes is a promising approach in creating clear windows for target detection, which can greatly enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the radar system. The presented approach undergone the different properties testing and given the best results, such as auto-correlation, cross correlation, ambiguity function for examining the performance of static as well as moving target detection is concern. The MatLab, which was the most powerful tool, can estimate the performance accurately of the designed codes for target detection. Overall, the proposed digital coding technique has the potential to significantly improve the target detection process by significantly reducing the side lobes in Doppler tolerant radar systems, and further research is necessary to validate its effectiveness with Matlab.
