Abstract
Intelligent street lighting systems are revolutionizing urban infrastructure by enhancing energy efficiency, reducing operational costs, and improving safety. By integrating sensors and artificial intelligence (AI), these systems can autonomously adjust lighting levels based on real-time data. This review explores the design principles, key components, and applications of sensor-based AI-powered street lighting systems. Additionally, it discusses the benefits, challenges, and future directions for this technology.
