Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed traditional classroom environments into dynamic, data-driven learning spaces. The chapter explores practical ways AI tools can streamline and enhance everyday classroom operations. It examines how AI-based systems support attendance tracking, timetable management, student behaviour monitoring, resource allocation and communication workflows. The chapter provides a comprehensive examination of AI applications that support everyday classroom management within smart classroom settings. It highlights practical, contextually relevant tools that align with current school environments, moving beyond speculative or futuristic conceptualisations. The chapter emphasises the importance of balancing technology with teacher autonomy, ensuring that AI remains a supportive aid rather than a replacement. It concludes by outlining key implementation strategies, ethical considerations and the infrastructure required to establish effective AI-enabled smart classrooms. By presenting a practical, school-friendly view of AI integration, this chapter aims to equip educators with actionable knowledge to enhance efficiency, inclusivity and adaptability in daily classroom management.
